Born and raised in Peachtree City, Georgia, Ally Case, now calls Los Angeles her home. Not only is the online personality always keeping busy creating content for her YouTube channel, she also writes music, sings, and is currently enrolled in an online college, majoring in marketing. As one of our SKYE ambassadors, we asked Ally a few questions to know get to know her a little more!
Ally, walk us through what a day in your life is like.
My mornings always start with something active. Whether it’s going to the gym, cycling, kickboxing, or hiking mountains, I’m always breaking a sweat. All hours of the day, I’m working on producing content. If I’m not writing music, I’m filming YouTube videos, shooting photos, or designing. I’m constantly working! (I’m a bit of a workaholic).
My night life is usually filled with dinner parties or brand events. I love spending time with my friends and family and if they’re not at the dinner party, they’re probably at the brand event! When I have down time, I like to incorporate something productive in. The best way to end my days are on the couch with hot tea editing YouTube videos or studying a new language while multitasking 500 other things.
We know you like to talk about your outfits in your YouTube videos. How would you describe your style?
I would describe my everyday style as casual chic. I love an athletic, leisurely look paired with trendy pieces that dress the look up a bit.
What does "style meets comfort" mean to you? How do you maintain a look that’s both stylish and comfortable?
“Style meets comfort” means everything to me. Always on the go, being comfortable is of top priority. I also won’t leave the house if I’m not wearing something stylish, so a hybrid of the two is necessary.
We know there are no shortage of things to do in LA. What are some of your favourite hangout spots in the city?
LA is embedded with adventure. My favorite thing is hiking to the Tree of Life. It’s absolutely beautiful and such a kickass workout! You can also catch me at any of the thousands of vegan restaurants or small coffee shops around town with my laptop.
As someone who’s always running around town, how does the Rbutus fit your lifestyle?
Always running around, the Rbutus is perfect for my lifestyle. They’re that “grab and go” kind of shoe that you know will be sensible for any day. And they look great with everything. (Pro tip: wear them to the airport—you save so much time in airport security lines because they’re so easy to put on and take off!)
What is it about the Rbutus that you are drawn to?
I was first drawn to the style of the Rbutus. The look is timeless. After wearing them and feeling just how comfortable and practical they are, I couldn’t get enough!
